For my fifth blog my focus is on the Low Earth Orbit photography. In this type of photography you are a certain height off the earth surface and above the clouds. usually taken in airplanes or crafts above the clouds. These images show us the different aspects of what we live among.
"Taking an image from low Earth orbit is breathtaking but also misleading the amazing glow that you get at the edge of the horizon that starts looking like the atmosphere" (Fagan 52).
"The shots took on an airplane combines parts of the plant in the frame or excluding them. The height the image is taken at and the amount of clouds that cover the frame are two really big variables that cannot be controlled but taken as a great image" (Fagan 52).
The images below were taken on an airplane above the clouds right above an island and you can clearly see the shape of it and the clouds give a soft glow on its edges making it look amazing. When editing it I made sure that the edges were more shadow so that it would reflect off the clouds and the sky would make the image more appealing to the viewer than it is already.
