For my fourth post I want to practice more with lighting. I have some great pictures but the lighting just doesn't work with the picture. It makes the overall look unappealing.
"When the light, subject, and contributing background are working well, I don't wan to overly process things with the camera or the app" (Fagans 12).
These pictures were taken in Wenatchee last year. It didn't turn out good because I took it while the car was moving. In the original picture the mountain blended in with the background, it didn't stand out. The overall picture was dull. I edited the picture using the app Lightroom. I added highlight, a little exposure, increased clarity and added a little bit of vintage.

I definitely cannot take a picture with the car moving! The picture is beautiful and I am completely surprised an iPhone can do that. How long does it take for you to edit these photos?
ReplyDeleteThank you, it takes me about 15 minutes to edit pictures in general but for this specific picture it took about 10 minutes.
DeleteThat's an impressive picture AND edit! Good eye for catching photo opportunities! I'd imagine that some sort of technology for taking clear pictures while moving has been invented, considering that there are sports filters on some cameras specifically for getting photos of moving subjects.
ReplyDeleteThank you, and yhea I think there are filters and cameras for moving pictures but i just took this from my normal iPhone camera.

ReplyDeleteThis is a really cool picture Divya, since we both are doing the same topic Im wondering what filter and lighting you might have used to make your picture look this good, and what color compositions you might have used?
