Knitting: Additional Learning and New Tools

Posting on the 29th of December and having to do another before the New Years is a bad idea on my part.

Anyhoo, here's an update post on my journey in learning on how to knit! I mentioned before that my friend advised me to use wooden needles as they are sticky and help prevent slipping, and tada!

Circular bamboo needles!

Not only are they wooden, they are also connected to each other through a flexible line of plastic. This is normally used when knitting a circular item, like a sock or a sleeve, but they work miracles for regular projects too. My friend was certainly correct about how nice the needles are for preventing slipping, and its easier to store the needles without them falling off.

And they store away incredibly well with the yarn ball stored in a glass bowl. I can move this anywhere I want without fear of it falling off.

I'm learning more and more with knitting, and I've been receiving a lot of help from friends and my parents. What should I try to make after this scarf? Do you prefer softer or scratchier yarn? Don't forget to comment!
